At Cranleigh Abu Dhabi we take great pride in educating the whole child and place equal importance on the Academic, Pastoral and Co-Curricular aspects of school life.
This holistic approach to education is not just an add-on. It is our strong belief that learning takes place beyond the confines of the classroom. Pupils have the opportunity to develop both socially and educationally through participating in our extensive Co-Curricular Activities programme.
The objective of the activities is for pupils to develop their independent skills, explore new interests, enhance their creative development and enjoy new challenges. Developing an early appreciation and enjoyment of a range of skills or hobbies can bring lifelong enjoyment and personal development.
We offer a wide variety of activities each term including recreational and competitive sports, performing arts, clubs and activities as well as a series of youth service programmes, including Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Sports Leadership qualifications and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
The Cranleigh Enrichment Portfolio (CEP) has been developed for pupils in Years 3 - 13. Pupils who enrol in a range of activities each term will build up an individual skills profile to log their development.
Pre-Prep activities run from 15:00 - 16:00 for FS2 to Year 2. Most pupils stay for an average of one or two activities per week. There are no CCAs for Nursery (FS1) as we believe that the day is already long enough for children of their age.
Prep & Senior School CCAs run from 15:45 - 16:45 and from 16:45 - 17:45 on Monday-Thursday. To enable pupils to develop a good range of skills through a variety of activities we encourage pupils to participate in three CCAs per week.
