The House system is an integral part of the Senior School. Students become a member of either:
Students remain with this House for the duration of their Senior School journey. Students have a House tutor and a Housemaster who nurture them through this journey, overseeing their academic and personal development.
Each of the four Houses has its own distinctive tie and House area and students are rightly proud of their House’s identity. They take an active role in the running of the House through a variety of leadership roles, the House Council and charity events.
Students have the opportunity to organise and participate in a variety of Inter-House events ranging from sport, drama and music to poetry, baking and entrepreneurship. Students are encouraged to take a lead in areas where they excel and to push boundaries by participating in activities that are outside of their comfort zone. House points are also awarded in recognition of the Students effort and their positive contribution to the school community.
The House system is organised to make sure that every student’s wellbeing, personal and academic growth are closely monitored and impacted in a positive way.
