Cranleigh Talks: Be the Change has enabled many speakers from the Year 5-6 and Year 7-8 enrichment groups to come forward and speak passionately about a change that they would like to see in our world. From child poverty to animal testing to teenage independence, the talks have focused on identifying the key issues and how to bring about a change for the better and to raise awareness.
For over a term, the pupils have researched and formed structured and critiqued speeches that were shared with the Cranleigh community at several afternoon events. They spoke eloquently and passionately with real presence and skill and within the group we can imagine future economists, politicians and humanitarians driving changes to make the world a better place.
