Cranleigh’s Got Talent 2019 ensured that Term 2 ended with a flurry of Music, Dance and Drama! Prep School pupils showcased their performance skills as they went head-to-head against members of the other Houses.
A huge thank you to all who helped to make this event such a success. As usual, the true spirit of Cranleigh was shown at its very best. Our school moto, Ex Cultu Robur, (from culture comes strength) ties in perfectly with Performing Arts events like these.
Mr Wilson, Mr Joy and Ms Whitfield were our guest judges and their decisions were made even harder due to the incredibly high standard of talent on display. Every year the quality rises, and 2019 was no exception. Mr Wilson returned to the judging panel for the first time since 2015 and reminded the 500+ crowd about the importance of collaboration and teamwork – “turning the Me into We”.
We were also joined on stage by the Year 3 & 4 Dance Company, who presented a beautiful Lion King performance while the judges made their final decisions.
Cranleigh truly does have TALENT – what a great way to end Term 2!
